We sat down with Wired senior cultural editor Manisha Krishnan at the Tribeca Immersive 2025 opening to talk AI & Me and she shared her experience in The Confessional in this Instagram reel.

"Attendees at this year’s Tribeca Festival in New York can subject themselves to the blunt and unfiltered opinions of an AI that judges them entirely on the way they look. The Confessional is part of an immersive installation, AI & Me, that examines that relationship between humans and AIs. The artists behind the project, Daniela Nedovescu and Octavian Mot, collectively known as mots, say The Confessional was created with publicly available machine learning models. Would you want your appearance to be judged by an AI?"
